چکیده

Dr Hazen received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Interdepartmental Biology from Michigan State University. His Ph.D. is from Wake Forest University in Microbial Ecology. Currently, he is Governor’s Chair at the University of Tennessee and professor in the Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Microbiology, and Earth and Planetary Sciences and a Faculty Fellow in the Biosciences Division of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology.
